This week I had a conversation with one of our long term VI Community members, Terry Kempfert. Terry considers herself to be a businesswomen with ‘multiple personalities’ due to several ventures and passions in her life. We talked about the marketing challenge a client like her brings because she is one person with so many on-line media channels available to communicate with her followers. She needed to have something to help her more effectively organize all of the things she wanted to say about her ventures and passions.
A Blog Solution
I wanted to create a blog about my ventures and write about things that made me happy but wasn’t sure how to combine everything I had to say in one place where I could direct people without confusing them. My blog is something I have control of and it’s easy enough for me to update on my own.
Terry’s blog, www.terrykempfert.com was created to help not only organize everything under one roof, but also integrate with all of the social media tools she is utilizing to help her ventures grow – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Etsy – all connect and point back to her blog. She can categorize her blogs, and post them according to the venture or passion she is promoting. Terry’s blog is also giving her followers stories and photos to help them connect with her – and she knows and believes it’s the personal connection that keeps them coming back; leading to personal and professional growth!
