Help! I can’t send any emails!

If you’re unable to send, please try the following:

  • Verify that “My outgoing server requires authentication” is checked
    Outlook 2003
    Outlook EXPRESS
    Windows Vista Mail
    Mac OS X Mail
  • Change the outgoing SMTP Port from 25 to 587
    Outlook 2003
    Outlook EXPRESS
    Mac Mail
  • Log into the web interface by going to http://mail.yourdomain.com. This will verify that your username and password are correct and that there are no major server issues.
  • Make sure that you’re not having any internet problems. You will need internet access for your email to work.
  • If you are still having problems, contact us or your local technical support vendor for more troubleshooting. Please have the following information handy:
    - When the problem started
    - What happens when you try to send
    - The error code, if you have one. Outlook error codes typically start with 0×800. You can also take a screenshot of the error.
