How do I configure Windows Vista Mail for my E-Mail Accounts?

The following section explains how to download mail from your Vivid Image account using Windows Vista Mail.

  1. In Mail, go to the Tools menu and click on Accounts.vistamail1
  2. Select Add
  3. Select Email Account and click Next.vistamail2
  4. Enter your name and click Next
  5. Enter your email address and click Next
  6. Enter the mail server information:
    Incoming e-mail server type: POP3
    Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
    Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
    Be sure to check “Outgoing server requires authentication” box

  7. Enter your user information:
    User: your full email address
    Password: the password that was provided to you
