Marketing Training-7 Easy Offerings

Training is so vital to learning new skills.  Most members in the military spend at least 8 weeks in isolation in Basic Training, then they get specialized training for weeks or months at a time.  All of this preparedness is done in anticipation of having to conduct something “live”.  When a private hasn’t had all of the necessary training, like this scene in the movie Stripes it’s funny because we are all make mistakes when learning new skills.

When you are taught a new business skill, how often do you get to practice it before it becomes “live”?  Once, twice?  Probably not.  And unfortunately, you can’t isolate yourself from the rest of the real world or business while you work on learning the new skill.  Interruptions happen. I want to make sure that Vivid Image customers and prospects know about all of the training opportunities that Vivid Image offers so you can take the new things we teach you, like Word Press and have the back up to put it into practice. Here are 7 types of training we offer, so you can put your marketing training to good use.

Blogs

Believe it or not, if you read every blog post we put out (well over 100 this year alone), we have trained you on all sorts of aspects of marketing, from planning, content curation, analysis and everything in-between.  And it isn’t just social media biased.  It is all created from a point of wanting your business to grow.

Social Media

Have you subscribed to Vivid Image’s Facebook or Twitter page?  Here’s where you can get our latest blog post AND also get comments on marketing items and other events our local customers and friends are talking about, everyday.  Using social media and following VI is a great way to keep current and learn new things quickly.

Videos

Yes, we are on YouTube, but I am also thinking about the new video links we offer with some of our new Word Press sites.  After your site goes live, we offer video support.  So when you know you want to add an image to your site, but can’t remember how, it is all right there within your site.

Newsletters

What a great recap!  Yep, a newsletter can highlight some of the “best of” blog posts and Facebook comments since the last time you sent out an email.  Yes, it can also be fully of new content, ever see the recipes that we include in our newsletter?  Usually that is exclusive VI Newsletter content.  Did you forget how to add social buttons to your website?  Constant Contact, one of our trusted vendors, also has a wonderful training area on their website, including a chat feature, which I just used a few weeks ago to help me create an email template.

Classes/Workshops/Seminars

Offered several times a year, Vivid Image’s on-site training program is one of the best reasons to work with us.  Having live classes taught by a person who understands the challenges of SMBs is a great benefit to your business.  The planning for 2012 has classes on Word Press, Blogging, Images and so much more to help you get more out of your website.  Watch those leads come in.

Email

After you have completed a project with Vivid Image, we don’t want to go away.  We want to stay with you, in frequent contact, so we can find out how your project is going.  We want to help you with your marketing so you are current with technology and with a robust client base, we know what small businesses need and we can offer that follow-up care you deserve.

Phone

As Blondie said, “Call Me”.  If you are stuck, have checked out our FAQ’s, and are still struggling, call us, we can point you in the right direction and help you get your problem solved.  What happens if a project is complete, but you need more time and support to get things done?  A simple retainer, where you have a Vivid Image professional there to help you get marketing done is a cost-effective solution.

It really is that simple.  One of the reasons that I love working with Vivid Image is that we hold the values of caring, simple, innovative to create “Remark!able” projects for our clients everyday.  As the gratitude season gets underway, please share with us how we used those values to help your projects move forward and influence your business.

We love to see our work create a lasting impact.
