Today’s post is yet another remark!able story to share about what’s happening in the VI Community. In partnership with the Southwest Initiative Foundation, YES! (Youth Energy Summit) is a team-oriented youth program that uses hands-on, experiential learning and energy action projects to address energy opportunities and issues in rural Minnesota communities. Youth from Springfield, MN put together a video describing 10 ways to save energy and submitted it to the Samsung “Solve for Tomorrow” contest. It’s simple but powerful and the video and their story received recognition on Kare11 news. They made the Top 10, and then the Top 5 Finalists.
