My weekly routine it to experiement with new tools and see how they can help my clients grow thier business. This week I found two tools that I will be using more often. What do you think of these?
Chat with Your Website Visitor
What if you could engage with your website visitors when they are most interested? Many website lack clear calls to action and lose prospective clients and money when they cannot engage with a client immediatly. Olark is a simple tool to add real time chat to your website – enabling your clients to start a chat session with you. These sessions allow you to answer your clients quesitons, direct them to web pages, and get them to take the next action in your sales process. There is a free version to let you try out the service. I was able to setup an account, install it, integrate it with my instant messager program and learn how to use it in under an hour.
Who is Using Your Images Online?
I am always honored to see other people use my images online. (see our Flickr account for some of our images) The photos of our staff’s kids selling lemon has been used on several national websites – and these site have always linked back to me as the source of the image. Wouldn’t it be nice to see who is using your photos or graphics? Introducing TinEye. Just upload your image to TinEye and it will scour the web to find sites that are using your image. Simple and quick. I like that.

Tineye has been one of my favorite finds over the last few weeks. Try putting your logo into it and see where other may be providing you with free advertising.
