In MN, we are extremely lucky to have great healthcare access close to home in several of our rural communities. You don’t have to drive too far to get to the nearest clinic or hospital – and even if you need to have major surgery, in many cases you can have it performed right in your community. However, even if surgery is performed at another hospital in a metro area, you can still receive fabulous comprehensive follow up care right back at home. The hospital in Benson, MN wants their community to remember this!

They recognize the fact that today’s healthcare consumers are accessing their health information online – often times even before making a decision where to go for care. SCBH believes having an up-to-date online presence will help more local people choose to receive their care close to home. I know that if I ever ended up in a hospital (knock on wood) I would want my family to be near me!
